Cookies

Last updated: 1 October 2026

The short version: this site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising. The only outside service is the Google map, and it loads only if you say yes.

Your choice

What the site stores

When you accept or decline the map, the site saves your choice in your browser (localStorage, key villarosa-consent), together with its date. It is needed to remember the choice and not ask again on every page, so it does not require consent. It lasts 6 months; after that we ask again. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.

Google Maps

The map in the “Where” section is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Until you accept, the site sends no request to Google and shows only a drawn preview. If you accept, from the banner or the “Show the map” button, your browser loads the map directly from Google: Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, including for its own purposes. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). You can withdraw it at any time with the button above: the map will not load again. To remove cookies Google has already set, use your browser settings. Details are in Google’s privacy policy and in how Google uses cookies.

Links to other sites

The “Open in Google Maps” and WhatsApp links take you to outside sites, which have their own rules. Nothing loads from them until you click.
